The average American generates up to 7 1/2 pounds of garbage per person per week. Over a period of 24 hours, collect all the trash you generate. Weigh it and comment on what you learn. How much of it can be recycled? Is your trash configuration similar to the national average? What does your trash say about you? Take a picture of your trash to share with us.
