4/17/08, Week 13: Green Leadership
Approximately one year ago, the Kansas town of Greensburg was decimated in a tornado. Daniel Wallach and Catherine Hart, co-founders of Greensburg GreenTown and Alanna Goodman, Greentown associate, will explain how and why the town has decided to rebuild green. The discussion will focus on getting buy-in for change among disparate groups (citizens, government, business) and how the greening of Greensburg reflects larger environmental trends and puts Kansas on the map as an environmental leader.
