Money isn’t always green

This isn’t my week 3 post. Just a FYI.

No. I don’t mean some is silver or copper in color. I mean sometimes the environment comes in second to the bottom line. I know you’re thinking, “thank you captain obvious,” but I wanted to provide a link to a few tv ads I saw this evening during Monday night football. If there is no financial savings associated with green efforts and you’re working with executives like the ones in these ads – what do you do? Must you rely on showing your customers/clients appreciate green efforts and the org should simply regard it as a marketing opportunity? If this is your motive – how authentic and transparent can you be as a marketer? How effective can it be?
